Well.

If you had another 2 mil, I'd suggest splurging on Otamendi since he's extremely consistent and top notch even for the likes of Barcelona.

However, if that fails, then I'd opt for Ryan Shawcross of Stoke or as mentioned above, Gary Cahill of Bolton. Both are extremely consistent and natural center back who can and get average ratings of 7.10+ every season. They're also English nationals, so yeah.

if you want a left defender, buy alvaro pereira, for the right, try Sime Vrsaljko, but if you are looking for a center defense, buy Boyata or Leonel Galeano

thanks guys for all suggestions i ended up buying Huntelaar ( he has 20 finishing!) because Defoe got injured for the whole season! and by the way i am in my second season so i will look to buy these guys in January when i sell a few guys.
And to RAppel i tried to get samba but they said they wanted 30 million for him.
