Good LLM tactic lower division England

Which tactic is the best for LLM teams that play in like the 7th or 8th division? I use tactics like Phoenix but we are struggling, especially in away games when the opponent gets to many chances.

My advice would be to keep it simple. I usually play a variant of 442. Last time i got Waterloo dock to the vanorama with:
GK-D
FB-A (pace, crossing, workrate)
DC-D (tall, decent acceleration, positioning)
DC-D
FB-A
DMC - DLP on defend (someone with decent passing, positioning, workrate)
RM -> Defensive winger on support (also pace, crossing workrate. I basically play with 4 wing/fullbacks in this tactic so i never get outplayed on the wings)
CM - Attack (workrate, passing, off the ball, decision making. Finishing is a bonus)
LM - Defensive winger
STL - Poacher
STR - Targetman on support or attack

Fairly direct passing, pass into space, play out of defense, cross from deep.
Regroup, Counter
Standard lines, extreme pressing
