Good players for teams like Southampton with only a National reputation

So, Playing Southampton, first Jan transfer window and most of the big name and wonder kids arent interested in joining.
So who is out there that will improve the squad straight away and grow in the future?
Im looking at all positions, but especially goalkeeper, strikers and wingers

Obviously already have some good home growns like Luke Shaw

managed to get Lucas Romero, Gino Peruzzi, Ademilson (injury prone) and J Vossen (slow but steady)

go straight in for Carlos Fierro, he turns out great !
Natan Dyer possibly he can be brilliant.
Pablo Hernandez of Swansea too.

There just a few off the top of my head.
 
Anybody who is young and from Scandinavia... pretty much. Stefan Strandberg, Jonas Svensson, are the two best. Won't cost more than 2 million between them.
 
svensson is like 350k. thomas drage 800k class!! d.praet 3,3mill world class

GK: Vincent Enyeama, Pierrick Cros

FB/WB: Kiko Femenia, De Sciglio loan (great but move fast to get him), Romario (Vitoria) free January

CB: Strandberg (must buy for any team -plays at DM but less good teams best utilise him at cb), Almeback less than 500k and awesome, Sviatchenko, Sorensen (Bologna - co owned), Dibon (also rb), Casarini (free second season).

MF: Diskerud (free January), Muralha (825k clause DM), Thomas Drage (must haggle and be patient to buy for less than 800k), Mate Simao (DM - must buy for any team), Pinga (32 yo. On transfer list at Santos at the start. Costs less than 250k - scores goals as he can also play at ST and has the stats for it), Scocco (must buy - FREE second season. Playmaker par excellence. Also winger AM and ST)

CF: Kweuke (transfer listed within 2/3 weeks even in Jan. Patch - will cost 4mil which is a steal. Advise on how to buy him for this amount in MANUMAD'S BOX OF SWEETS thread), Juan Oliveira (Penarol), Sassa (4.4 clause) , Maupay (1.29m compensation)

These guys wont come,thomas drage, okore,burdisso (though he might join in jan)
a few others need wp

Still searching for really good strikers and a good tactic
 
Well this is ****. Lost 3 straight games at the start of the season with a good few of these so called great players.
svensson, strandberg etc. Just bought Thomas Drage for 1 million though.

If you have £6m free, I bought Eduardo with Swansea and just approaching January 2013 and he is the league's top scorer! Scored 17 goals in 15(1) games!

He will come if you persevere. When I was with Bologna he turned me down initially but 15 days later he came!
