Good players to sign at English League One Sides

I want to sign some good players, i have just started a new save as Tranmere Rovers FC and need to know some good quailty players to sign who are going to help me score lots of goals and win lots.

Just started a new new game with Leeds, there are alot of free transfers availible some of the best are:

Van der meyde....... so far 7 starts 4 goals and 5 assists, also worth over 1.5mil
Lauren.......Over 7.6 avg
Henri camara......Havent signed him but have seen posts that he is good
Sol campbell.......Tried to sign but he went to championship side
