Grey Named players

My assman insists on using the 14 or so grey named players in my reserve team instead of the actual players I ahve in there.

Anyone know how to be rid of them?

If they're better than your real players you should probably offer them contracts instead of try to get rid of them.

To get rid of them you have to sign more players for your reserves. When there's enough cover for each position the grey ones will disappear.
