Group stage problem

Hi all,

i am playing as everton and have been participating in the ECC. for some reason, i have finished second in my group on ten points with a goal diff of +1, while dortmund, also with 10 pts finished third with a superior goal diff of +3. is this a glitch or is there something i am missing? answers would be appreciated.

Im not sure but doesn't head to head record take priority over goal difference. So, If you took more points off Dortmund than they did off you, you will qualify.

but were the games the same result? 2-1, 1-2.. I'd imagine if you it was 3-1, 1-2 then you'd score more goals therefore you're results are better?

Yes but were they both for example 1-0 wins? Think of it as a two-leg playoff.
