My friend had a server on this, it closed down a while ago though, I was the Army chief.

I just flew the Harrier Jet around and blew stuff up with the tank :p

lol no. I only did it when it was me and him online. But he closed it cause he never had the time to script it, keep it running etc
 
i think all of us on fm base should start a server up i have a good script and gamemode i just dont know how to put the server online

Yes it's older than the newest GTA, but loads of people stick with SA because it's more fun to play online. Sort of the same that Age of Empires II is still more popular online than Age of Empires III. I do play frequently on different servers. This being on of them, know some of these guys for a couple of years now, my nick there is StonedAsHell :)

And on 0.3b there are several i visit every now and then, but i usually go to the one above for some racing or plain fun

Maybe you ought to take a look on that server, it has the whole map playable but not hundreds of people in them. So you can easily look eachother up
