I was just wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of some sort of guide that gives a more details breakdown of how players will actually play in different roles. I know it's gives you a brief explanation on game but I'm looking for something more detailed.
For example someone might not know that an advanced play maker would slow play down and therefore not be ideal to play in a counter attacking formation.
I'm basically looking to learn more about player roles so I can work out which roles best suit different styles of play.
Something similar would also be helpful for team instructions. Again I know there's an explanation but I recently discovered the retain possession instruction will reduce the amount of through balls attempted therefore making it less creative. So an idea on how team instructions affect your overall game plan would help!
Not sure if something like this would actually exist or maybe I'm just being an idiot and it should all be obvious
