Gungnir strikerless [Mythology]

Gungnir strikerless [Mythology] v10

Congratulations for the write up, one of the best in this forum by far. Gonna try it later.
Just a question: any important PPM for some role or duty?

Not really. I am playing in Korea and with Scotland, I can't build tactics with specialist PPM's as I usually don't have players like that.

Brilliant post as usual. Do you tweak it in match much? Ie mentality changes, LOE, Defensive Line etc. Always want to learn what I can from these posts. I remember your Cerberus system with different pressing traps.Loved that and learnt lot. Any in game management tips with this system would be gratefully received. Thanks for sharing.

Obviously i would believe that you are Korean, controlling a local korean team.

A big thumb up on spending so much down written and providing details just for a post! Probably 10 times more effort spent as english might not be ur first language?

Will try it out for you! Winning WC with Scotland isn't something you can see daily.

Thank you for your kind words, loisvale. I completely forgot about Cerberus and its majestic performances :D Good times.

When managing Scotland, I tweaked a lot during the big games. Nothing major but additional man-marking for the DM or the WB's or a change from a Support to a Defensive setting here and there. I haven't tried the various OI's with this tactic yet, mostly because it's so lopsided. I generally don't touch the LOE and Defensive Line. Mentality is something that I sometimes switch but inviting pressure on your team with such a high defensive line is generally a bad idea hehe.

I am actually Dutch. Controlling a Korean team is for fun. I haven't managed in Korea in a while, so I figured I'd give it a go. Good fun so far. Diego Poyet bossing the league.

You are correct in guessing English isn't my native tongue but I persevere and keep trying to get better in English. I'm not quite as eloquent as a native speaker but I can hold my own in any conversation, barring my atrocious accent. Fortunately, my written words do no suffer from my bad accent. :)

The Scottish World Cup win even took me by surprise. I kept expecting to go home. We scraped by Holland in the quarter-finals on penalties and then had to face England... I expected a humiliating loss, instead, we trashed them 4-0. The final was a bit of a flukey affair but we took an early lead and held on.

I am downloading this purely on the fact that you won the world cup with Scotland.
Being Scottish i can't see us qualifying for a major tournament for a long time never mind win anything!

Fantastic write up. Going to give this a try on my Elche save.

In FM, Scotland have got half-decent side. Couple of younger players breaking through like McKenna and Souttar and Celtic and Rangers have a few decent ones as well.

Yeah Karamoko Dembele shoulsd be eligible for Scotland as he has been playing for both Scotland and England but for some reason he can only play for England. Have yet to see him switch to Scotland but hopefully in real life he does!

He turned me down, repeatedly. He made his debut for England's youth teams now. Same with Angus Gunn, Che Adams and Harvey Barnes. I did persuade Karlan Grant initially, he even played two friendlies (and scored two) before he switched allegiances again. England omitted him from their World Cup squad, whereas he would've made mine. He could've been a World Cup winner... ****... Oh and I got Josh McEachran called up but he was mostly an understudy to Jon Fleck.

That makes for one **** of a read and a perfect example of how to post a tactic. Good job Sir! Will need to do a strikerless career!

Just wait for the other three tactics in this series.

I feel like this is suitable here
