Poyet sticks with Seagulls

Brighton manager Gus Poyet has said that he is "more than happy" to carry on managing the Seagulls for a couple more seasons. Albion are pushing for promotion to the Premier League and if they do not succeed this campaign, fears will grow of Poyet's departure. The fairly young manager is being looked at by a host of teams, and Gus Poyet has also turned down an offer from Reading.

"The talk of me leaving is nonsense," he explained. "I'm more than happy at Brighton and the whole team will look towards the top of the Championship. We've got the resources and the players; we just need the effort, desire and determination.

Despite the optimism, it won't be an easy task for the Seagulls; Poyet has virtually no money to spend for the upcoming season.
