We aren't invincible,

Club Background
Hangleton United were founded in 1924 by Jimmy Reeve. He took the club from local obscurity, to big time fame. As a player Jimmy set many records, setting the all time appearance record for the club and all time top goalscorer. He then went on to manage the club, and took them to even greater heights. By the time Reeve had retired from the club, aged 81, he had managed to take them all the way to the Premier League.
Jimmy Reeve unfortunately passed away 3 years later on 26th April 2009, ages 94. The club erected a statue the the legendary player outside their stadium.
Their history is slightly marred by the Lamb Park disaster in 1973. Part of the west stand collapsed during Hanglton's game against Brighton on the 29th November. 36 people were killed in the disaster, and Hangleton hold a ceremony each year in honour of the 36 people who lost their lives.
Club Facilities
Hangleton United currently play their home games at Royal Park, a 59,000 all-seater stadium. Plans for the stadium were put in place by Jimmy Reeve in 2004, but was unable to see its completion in 2010. The club also possess excellent training & youth facilities.
The club maintain a rivalry with Brighton & Hove Albion. Normally it is a well respected rivalry between fans, but on occasions it has turn ugly.
The Manager
Hangleton are currently managerless, after Tom View was sacked after 2 very poor seasons as manager. There is plenty of speculation over who will become the next manager, but favorite for the job is ex-Hangleton striker Jason Hallen. Hallen spent his whole career at Hangleton, and retired last year. He has taken a years break from football, but it is thought he is wanting to get back into the sport. Where better than the club he is worshiped at.
