I remenber Stig Tofting The lawnmower was an absolute nutcase he gets my vote ;)

Stuart 'Psycho' Pearce, quality player and in my opinion hardest aswell

Keane is just an ****, i have no respect for the man

i may be biased when it comes to commenting on Roy Keane, being im Irish and a United fan. But Roy Keane has been hailed as one of the greatest box-to-box midfeilders OF ALL TIME. Yes he did throw in a few rash tackles and got his fair share of yellow and red cards, but there is no player currently active I can think of who can break up play, create, attack and defend like Keane did. He was a fantastic asset to Manchester United, and lets not forget he was found and signed originally by(one of the best English managers of all time) Brian Clough

I dont think one off individual incidents warrant making a player hard. Some players used to make a living on being dirty,Leeds United under Revie would finish the games with less than 4 men every week if they were around today.

Don Revie was a greedy ******.

Danny McGrain who else could play through a fractured skull.

Anybody who saw Keanes time at Celtic knows hes far from hard.
