Parma go into their first Champions League Final as the underdogs but are only without Borja Baston throigh injury. Apart from that Parmalot have a full squad to choose from and boast the tournaments two top goalscorers, Carlos Tevez (12) and Wayne Rooney (9).
This is Alicante ****'s third Champions League final in four years, but failed in the last two attempts, losing to Blues and then Mikeys. Will third time be a charm or will the absence of Dmytro Chygrynskyi be a deciding factor or will their dangerous strike force of Pato and Javier Hernandez prove a winning formula?

It was all ***** for the first 10 minutes, heavy pressure resulting in a goal after 11 minutes. The dominance continued with Hulk and Pato going close. Out of nowhere, Poli went very close with a free kick from the edge of the area for Parma, but this still couldnt stop Alicante pushing forward as Hernandez doubled his tally. Minutes into the second half, Hernandez was lucky not to see a red card and he slide in rashly on a Parmalot defender, but the referee only showed yellow. It was Parma though who started the more brightly, with Rooney pulling a great save off Hugo Lloris before Tevez slotted home to give Parmalot hope. Maybe it was in vein as Hernandez immediatly hits back with a hattrick goal that looked offside. Tevez then so nearly pulled another goal back for Parmalot but his turn then strike on goal sailed inches wide before Rooney preduced another fine save from Lloris. As Parma pushed more and more forward in search of a goal, ****'s looked dangerous on the counter attack with Hernandez fluffing a 1-on-1 opportunity with Oblak. But Alicante wernt to be denied and as the final whistle went, their fans went wild. Captain Lionel Messi lifting the Champions League trophy as Alicante **** make it third time lucky in Champions League finals as they finally get their hand on Europe's top prize.
