Has anyone managed to emulate The German National System?

Hey, Ive been trying for weeks now to emulate Joachim Loew's tactics for the Germany National Side.

I know it was based around a 4-2-3-1 but cant seem to get anywhere near the efficiency of the germans. Im also not sure if they played with 2 Centre Mids, 2 Defensive Mids or a Mix.

Any Ideas?

I even made a database that removed all of Chelsea's current squad and replaced it with the German World Cup Squad. Still Nothing.

I think that when analyzing the style of play, ist important to remove as many of the other variables as possible that effect the result or flow of the game. Variables like morale, confidence and overall team gell. I am afraid that when playing with a squad full of new players, it might be that you wont be able to see why things are not working.
 
The midfielders were a mix. They constantly changed between roles, so that when Schweinstiger was attacking, Khedira stayed back, and vice versa. In recent years (I'm thinking Ballack/Schweinstiger in the middle) it was done in a similar fashion.

The problem I have with the Germany team is that there are so many good young players coming though, and I want to play them but keep that solid mix of the actual WC squad. Saying that, Adler wasn't at the WC, and neither was Kroos (I don't think, correct me if i'm wrong).

With regards to Cacau, he is not the best player in the Germany squad by far.. Klose is a much better aerial threat, and if you could get him back, so is Kevin Kuranyi. The best strikers I know of, have to be the likes of Mario Gomez and Stefan Kießling.

I know it doesn't really answer your question, but these are my thoughts on the Germany team, and I do atleast try and answer the CM question ;)

Thought Of all this too, Set Morale Highest, for each player, created reasonable player favoured personel links, used FMRTE to set my tactic as Fully Recognised for the team, It just didnt work.....

Working on one just now with Athletic Club (with a bit of help from the guide posted above and the False Nine guide). Not sure how to do screenshots and the like.

Started off a bit mixed but results have really picked up since I pulled the wingers (Podolski and Muller in the German side, Munian/de Marcos and Susaeta at Athletic) back to MR/L rather than AMR/L. Changed it after getting beaten 2-0 by Atletico in the third game of the season and have since beaten Sporting 5-2 and Mallorca 4-1. The game against Mallorca was one of the best I've had a team playing in FM11

With Ander joining at the end of the season don't really have a top-quality player for the Ozil role but Barkero and Garmendia are doing very, very well despite being rather average stats wise. Probably helps that they play behind someone as good as Llorente (played as a False Nine but with the Complete Striker support role).

Javi Martinez plays the Scweinsteiger role - I had concerns that he'd be able to play that but he's beeen excellent - and Gurpegi the Khedira role, not the greatest but decent enough.

The right back role that Lahm usually plays for Germany seems to be pretty important and Andoni Iraola plays it brilliantly for me. The left back plays much more defensively.

Barca up next so that will be a test.
