I Personally Feel it has changed the way i play Football manager, what i mean is before i found this site i had little knowledge that it was even a game untill i was old enough to aknowledge how it worked then i started with the basics like transfers Etc... but then i foudn this site and my knowledge has grown so much(6) its unbelieveable and i think thats the(6) reason why i dont get into games as much |)

What do you guys think
 
Yes, I have to record every game I play for my story.

So.. yah.
 
Hmm.. not really I don't think. I only started playing FM due to last year's purchase being so cheap (FM09 that is). Since then I've been on Base but I don't think it's changed the way I play it.

FM-Base has certainly changed my nights anyway XD

no i mean before and after like because you bought FM same time you came on here so you wouldnt know what i mean
 
Well I didn't come on the exact same time, it was probably half a year or so. I've kinda had a 'football brain' for a number of years (due to football being my main priority week in week out) so I've probably managed a team today in the same way I would have done 2-3 years back.

Yes, i now try to build my own tactics, i found out about using other peoples tactics, and better scouting, so definitely yes, a good thread by the way
 
Off-topic: Supporting Arsenal, then Liverpool ain't a great choose. ;)
On: Yeah, FM-Base improved me a lot. Anyway I voted Cheese since I thought it's that we will get tons of cheese.
 
It has definitely changed the way I manage, I am now a much better manager thanks to lots of helpers on here. I never think I would have had the relative success which I have had. Thanks FM-Base, respect!
 
Definately.I was completely unaware of how bad I was at FM until I found FM-Base.So,yeah,thank God for this website :wub:

My methods are still the same as they were in '05.

Thank you i have been thinking about it for some time, im jsut too scared if mods close me down
 
Nah not really, picked up a few tactical hints and tips etc from people like JP and TBH but apart from that not much.
 
Definatly, its given me more options in the transfer market people who i didnt really know about until i saw them on here also help with the training and tactics etc.

I still voted cheese tho
 
Not really to be honest...

It's made my game look nicer with a few skins etc but tactically I've gained my own knowledge
 
Never been able to get properly into an FM game before this site, so yeah quite a bit
 
I have been playing FM since it first came out! I was playing CM since 03 then when it split into separate games i bought them both and have never looked at CM since!

Then about a year and a half ago someone told me that you can get the faces, kits and skins for it i disagreed until i found this site. Where i signed up straight away!
I used the site as a graphics shop for a couple of month XD not even acknowledging the forum section of the site, UNTIL i had a problem with the game. Where the mods and long time members found a way to fix my graphics problem. 'which i am eternally grateful for" ;)

Since the ice was broken back then i have grown to love contributing to the site in terms of opinions and advice. Through the many threads iv read about the game i have learnt a **** of a lot! With such a complicated game, there are always theories and opinions that can contribute to areas that a player has never even thought of before. Because of they way the game can be played totally differently by each person who plays it.

FM has always been my favourite game anyway, this site has added to that obsession!
