Has it lost its appeal?

In Fm 2013 I had one of my most satisfying campaigns ever the evolution of my team and the success better than any team previous. However once I won everything I completely lost interest and didnt pick the game until the end of summer where again I completely lost interest.

This year I didnt even pre-book the game I just started playing the demo yesterday... Today I had a proper go at it and I decided it doesnt have the appeal anymore (In before BLASPHEMY, ban him)... I will probably attempt another game just to see but I seem to have lost the addiction and cant get it back...

Today I took charge of the mighty Villa and enthusiasm was drained before the end of August... Pre-season was mixed but I found the right combination and set my team up well then Benteke got injured before my first competitive game... What unfolded in the game however just ****** me off two goals I could do nothing to prevent some sillyness from Vlaar and even more sillyness from the GK straight after...

What do you guys say? Does it still hold the appeal for you? Or has it weaned a little? There is still a tiny little glint in my mind, a little voice saying pick it up and continue but its easy to silence these days... I love the direction the game has but maybe the change is part of the problem?

Doesn't sound like you've lost it completely.

Personally I lose interest every year, and regain it every year upon release. I usually grow tired some time after christmas, then maybe pick it up again for a short while during spring. But when it gets to October I get my hands on the new release - and so the circle continues.

Yeah Il probably end up buying it closer to Xmas...

Last year I played it up until February then stopped completely I tried picking it up a few times but never got past 2 or 3 games... It was basically the same this time round Iv played with Feyenoord and Villa so far in the demo but havnt got past August...
I bet if I start with a lower league team Il get addicted again thats usually what I do...

All my long term saves are with lower league teams. I lose interest very quickly when i'm in charge of a big team in a countries top division.

This happened to me in 2009 only played 14 hours of the game and lost all interest.

but the last 2 years I have got back into it full time sometimes a break is what you need.

personally I love this years game I know there are a few issues here and there but there is something I love about this years game that I can't really put my finger on.

Is it just me that finds it boring when you get to the stage of playing in Europe? It's hard to get past a couple of seasons in Europe without getting bored, far too many games for me and I just want to play in the League. Not sure why.

try starting with a team from the lower leagues makes you think a little more as the players not as well known as the big boys
