All my games seem to last about 3 seasons max. and for all of the seasons I stay with the same team, normally wining a few trophies but not being chased by any other teams apart from maybe a few weak international teams. I was wondering if anyone has had like a proper managerial career like managed a variety of teams maybe even international?

Currently trying my first.

Started unemployed then got the Saturn job in the Russian league pretty fast, saved them from relegation and applied for the Fenerbache job. Won the league first year and just about to start second season. :) Going to try with Sunday League rep next time haha.

FM 2007 - Accrington, Wycombe, West Ham and England.
FM 2008 - Salamanca, Levante, Mallorca, Sevilla, Schalke and Liverpool.
FM 2009 - Go Ahead, Excelsior, PSV and Italy.
FM 2010 - Carrarese, Empoli, Livorno, Lazio and Brazil.

All pretty much my journeyman-ish saved, where I eventually build myself to the top.

Planning on starting my 2011 one in Germany or Portugal :)

not on fm11 but on fm10 I started with swedish team GAIS, not very good team. then went to norway and vålerenga(sp) after that I was in twente. before moving to at. madrid and then I finished my save in chelsea. I also finished 3 in the world cup with scottland 2018.

Sounds pretty good, fair play.

One of my last games on FM10 was : Villareal B, Preston North End, Karlsruhe, Panathinaikos, Roma, Manchester United plus nations managed: Ghana, Senegal, Bosnia&Herzegovina, Portugal, Brazil and one more that I can't remember.

I've had many games stretching to 8,9,10 seasons, i find it hard to leave clubs when i start bring the youth through i like to stay and see them develope into world beaters. ive taken ajax(twice), marsille, lyon through 6+ seasons to dominating the domestic league (obviously) and winning a fair few champions leagues etc.

Though I did try to make a massive game with loads of leagues and start unemployed in fm10, got offered a job by a brazilian div2 team with the intention of leaving for better things, but i got a few youngsters in and well the rest is history... lol

thats really good, I really want to try and have one like that

After doing a lot of pretty much what you said in the first post, I tried doing a longer-term game. I started at Southampton, and went on to manage Fiorentina, Valencia, Koln, Bayern Munich and Liverpool, and Mexico, Brazil and England internationally. It was the best save I'd played and I'm going to do something similar on fm11 soon, starting with a really small club to see what I can do.

That save sounds pretty epic..

Best I have really done was on Arsenal on FM10, dominated with them and then went to South Africa, Greece (won the Euros) then went to Brazil and England where I won World Cup and Euros respectively. When I get bored with my Colchester game I may start unemployed in Lowest England club team and try and work my way up through jobs.

FM09 - Birmingham, Napoli, Man City then AC Milan

Well worth doing, finances, low reputation and having to pay out the clubs money for a bigger stadium and better facilities make it a much bigger challenge.

I had a 10 season game as coventry on FM10. But this year i'm sticking with solihull moors hopefully I can keep the game going a while. Started with 18th media prediction in the Blue square south, basic training and youth facilities, and a ground of max capacity around 2.5k mostly standing! The finances are knackered too, you start with 3-3.5k a week wage budget and you quickly slide into the red even if you're well within it in my first seasons one of the main incomes was board investment keeping the club solvent. I need to be able to make some money for training improvements soon though.

gone with the Sunday league rep and attribute masking too (H).

My fm10 save currently gathering dust and entitled "from Luton to Manchester" consists of
10 seasons only 3 national clubs and 2 international but they are the best saves if u stick with them...after i left luton i won the fa cup with sunderland from the championship...later on i did a terrible job with italy in the world cup and got sacked shortly after only for brazil too offer me another job and all these events and smaller ones make these games in my opinion better than the average....
I'm hoping to last 20 seasons in my fm11 save :)

Heh I was planning to go with Solihull Moors aswell, good luck :P

Started as Elgin City on Sunday League rep, managed to win promotion, then 2 league titles in 3 years. In the SPL and doing well, and taken over the Scotland U20's. In the Semi's atm against England :(

Im trying my first career now, and not off to a good start lol...

Managing Darlington in blue square premiere. Currently 22nd in table about 10 games in, **** team morale, and ive just been told my job status is 'very insecure'. This could be the first time ive ever been sacked lol so we shall see where I end up after Darlington as when I started I put reputation as sunday league footballer.
