Everyone should remeber last year's FA Cup underdogs Havant & Waterlooville beating Swansea and scoring 2 goals at Anfield. It's getting to that time of year where everybodyy is just beginning their last Fm game before FM 10 is released. Mine is with Havant & Waterlooville, not with the aim of getting them to be the best team in the world, premier league and champions league champions ect. because it is simply unrealistic. My aim is to get hopefully to the championship one day in the future but my main goal is to emulate last season's real life achievement of reaching the fourth round of the FA Cup. With the luck of the draw and a bit of cup magic, i hope i can do something special here...
Breaking News: David Rowlands unveiled as Havant & W Head Coach. Unkown manager David Rowlands was today announced the Havant & Waterlooville head coach on a one year part-time contract worth £500 a week. The board greeted the young rookie manager with the news that there would be no transfer money available and that the club were already over their wage budget and were unable to provide anymore funding into the club.
My task was a tricky one but pre-season looked pretty comfortable. A few welsh touring sides would play me aswell as the annual fixture with parent club pompey. I noticed that the friendly was the only benefit of the link and immediately set about finding a new one. i took southampton over dagenham and redbridge and signed a young american defender on loan. Considering no-one wanted to leave and clubs just weren't interested in my players, i could not amend the wage budget. I have started signing players and have now gone into september. i will post results for each month and put up screenies for proof. please feel free to comment and give me advice on how i can improve. i am currently using JP Woody's original tactics and tugs training schedule. any reccommended tactics, formations and anything else to do with the team (including possible signings) would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
David0404
P.S. I am using 9.0.3 patch with england and scotland playable, wales, N.Ireland ,Republic of Ireland, France and Italy non playable and a large db
