Having issues regarding scouting reports

For some reason whenever I manually scout a player (which I do a lot of), I never get sent the report in my inbox. I can go back and search for the player and the scouting is completed but I never get the email.

As far as I can tell, all of the scout preferences are set up so that I get emailed about everything, any idea about what I'm doing wrong?

Go -> Staff -> Responsibilities -> Reports
on top says frequency put that weekly and you will be getting once a week a scouting meeting with the reports on the players
If you have that monthly you will be getting scouts reports on players later or you wanted something else and i misunderstood?

That's all set up as it should but I still never get the reports through.

The weird part is, if I scout a player manually, and then go back and search for them 1 day later, the scouting has been completed.

Even though I have instructed my scouts to scout the players for a week
