Head of Youth Development

Hi,

I am playing on classic mode and have a question of youth development. I have bought a good few young player between the ages of 19-22 who are in my full squad. Does the head of youth development have any effect on these guys or are their improvements just based on the full squad training?

How best do i maximize young player potential?

As far as Im aware HoYD only applies to U18 squad like it is in real life.
If you want to maximise your players potential, just give him first team experience by playing him or sending him out on loan, you can also tutor him with an experienced player on your squad that plays a similar style to the yougster. Also make sure that you have good coaches and a good training schedule to get the most out of that player.

No tutoring, training schedules or coaches in classic mode

In Classic there isint an option for "coach". Will this then depend on my assistant managers attributes?

Pardon me, I didnt notice that you were playing in "Classic" mode, my bad.
Just send your player out on loan then and make sure he gets match experience.
