help anyone please

I've follwed the instructions on where to find the data editor when activated through steam but every time i try to losad it, it won't load and the screen goes black like its trying to but then nothing happens when i click it again it says already running. am i missing something

Where are the instructions about buddy?? i can't find them. I downloaded from Steam and haven't been able to start the editor....but if i could find out how to do it i could maybe help you out
