help: fm new window

I'm running steam with fm (mac). I want to be able to run word and fm11 on two windows, where i can type something on word and then play fm WITHOUT QUITTING THE GAME! help?

once the game has started go to preferences, display and sound you should be able to change the screen size to windowed mode.
