Help for a N00b ! :)

Hi,

So recently I decided to get FM2010 and I have been thoroughly enjoying it. Started the game with one of my favourite teams Atletico Madrid and so far have had a pretty good season;

Finished Third in the La Liga,
Semi Final Loss to Man U in the Champions League,
Lost in the Final of the Spanish Cup to Barcelona.

Before the final with Barca the confidence from my fans was really high and after the loss the Barca it dropped completly and they are currently devestated with me :'(
Was this wondering would this affect how my Players play, Or whether the Board offer me a new contract?

Any tips are most welcome

Your players morale are likely to drop yes. For a long time after i had a bad run my Real Madrid team were all on poor morale. Just got to keep saying right things in press conferences and giving praise to any reasonably good performance a player puts in.

Fan confidence isn't so much a big deal. I guess it mainly determines how many fans show up to games.

It is very unlikely it will affect the board's decision to offer you a new contract. It is a much smaller thing than you think it is and by the new season the fans will have forgotten about it.
