help im in need of some tactic advice!!!!!

hello people im in great need of a formation for my reading team.
im in my 3rd season with reading after a relagtion fight im managed too keep them up some how lol. my players are good quality but just seem to go one goal down and give up is it the formation or the instuctions im giving im playin a 4-1-4-1 away and a 4-4-2 at home. can any one help or have any tips......

play to your team strengths...no point playing through the middle if you got quality wingers and a good target man is there?

my wingers are good i have lennon,krivets,hunt and convey
but what mkes a good target man

You have Doyle, he's a great target man. I bought him for my fulham team and he was premier league top scorer for last two seasons..i just signed 2 more strikers (one 33 million and the other 21 million) and Doyle still keeps his place in the team...
