Am just about to start a game managing Newcastle. Now I have nothing against African footballers, but my concern is the African Nations and losing Tiote who is the only real midfield enforcer on the books.

So looking to sell and purchase a replacement. Any ideas???

Losing Ba up front is no issue as I have other forward options, midfield is lacking. So please drop me an idea or 3.

Thought of Kara but he's an African national as well. Will check out Vass, heard of him but never really analysed him. Cheers
 
Sell... Tiote...? He's out for 1 month of the year. Don't sell, buy an u21 backup... Foolish idea imo.
 
OK OK! Any suggestions for an U21 back-up who can fill in while he's away???
 
Vass as said, geremi (old chelsea/real madrid) for free, enoh from ajax usually gets tl-ed pre season for 1m €
 
Nigel De jong is an awesome DM and city usually let him go for a reasonable price in my experience
 
Andile Jali would be an awesome buy! But he's another African i guess..
