Help Needed

Hey all,
I'm Arsenal, in my first season and i have a dilemma. Rhys Murphy is an 18 year old striker who performs really well for the U18's. Plenty of goal and MOTM's. But his coach reports are pretty ****, as are some of his stats (mainly his technical stats). He has one more year on his contract, so should i extend it and keep him, or let him go?
All help is appreciated.

i has potential to be a quality player, i remember in a fm 2008 game of mine arsenal sold him to liverpool for 70 Million
