Help Needed!!!

Ok guys i need help

I want to put video's from my pc onto a dvd but i dunno what im doing i can make data disks :| but i want it 2 play on my dvd player can anyone help?

Also i have a dvd righter n dvd disks b4 u say

First of all, what file format are your videos in? You will need a program called DVD to One which splits the audio file from the visual file, converts them into DVD compatible format (VOB files), sticks them all back together again then you're ready to burn.
Its a pretty easy program to use and talks you through the process step by step.
