HELP !! NEW GAME !! KEEPS CRASHING !!

Hello,

Having been sacked from Bristol Rovers and spending 6 months waiting around for a job offer of which none came in, I even got turned down for the Wrexham job !!, I decided to start a new game but everytime I try and start one my game keeps crashing just before the database has been loaded !!

Why is that ? does anybody know ?

I've downloaded various facepacks, logos etc but they worked in my saved game so why can't I start a new game, have I done something wrong ?

Please help as I can't play this wonderful game anymore !!

I forgot to say that a DMP file has been created in a "crash dump" folder under :-

C:\Documents and Settings\admin\My Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2009\crash dumps

copy your saved file to a new place, then reinstall the game it sounds like something is corrupted.
