help on 4-1-2-2-1 tactic

in fm08 i always played with 3 versions of this tactic

but i just can't get it right on fm09

defensive it is ok but offensive is a mess with my attacker never being where he should be.

Hoping any of you got a good tactic with this formation.
preferable 3, defensive, standard, offensive

same for me...my crappy assisstant manager always says our frontline is being outnumbered by their defensive line...
