I've been playing FM since 11.
It was quite confusing at first. but after some time I managed to take Catania to 1st in my first season.
My handicap was not really understanding each position properly, although I am following the FM ultimate guide, it's still not quite enough
With Fm12 I am playing as Norwich and learned about the different striker positions.
After playing the first reserve game I learned about my fastest striker S.Jackson and set him as a poacher and Holt as the Targetman.
I seemed to get great results in my next friendlies.
Anyway, I understand when the season starts i'll have to really be on my toes.
I don't really understand the defensive and midfielder positions. Anyone got any advice? I also need a good ML and MR.
PS. This is 1 of the greatest games I have ever played, so realistic and so much interaction. I'm astounded and excited to see what lies ahead for the FM series.
