Hey guys...

So after reading the thread 'How Do I play possession football' I decided to give it ago... Aha, bad idea.

I wanted to spice things up a bit, so i've gone for this shape to include a Trequartisa.

So the idea is, keep possession, and when it reaches my trequatisa (Van Der Vaart) He'll really dictate the play, stating chances and scoring.
I find myself though, not keeping possession, also conceding as well.
It's early in the season but when you lose 6-0 to Everton, you start to question your tactics.

The MCR (Charlie Adam) is an advanced playmaker
The MCL is a Ball Winning Midfielder
And the MR and ML's are set to Wide midfielder's
2 CB's are both Central Defenders set to one stopper one cover.
My Striker is a nice regen, i've set him to Poacher cause of his lightening pace. He's also a target man set to 'Run onto ball'

Anyone know where this can be going wrong? :/

Cheers :)

4-3-3
CM : Ball winning midfielder/defend
LCM: B2B Midfielder
RCM: Playmaker (Advanced/Attack or Deep lying/Support depending on your player)

If You want to Keep the shape you've got 1st things first Swap your 2 cm's round. Play the defensive one behind your TQ to improve balance.
Then Play-Slow, Narrow, Timewasting, High Pressing, High D-Line football.
Fluid and STANDARD (Not Control, uses up stamina too much ^^))

Should Get ya around 70% possession and 90+% pass completion.
Trust, I know. Made a Possession Tactic, Was Very Popular. Won Italian League with Napoli by along way :)
