I'll throw in my 10 pence! First of all. Mate, your Blackpool, why are you trying to play out from the back and use a short passing game with players who aren't very good technically? If you want to play that football then I'd use a better team. Blackpool's players are pretty poor tbh and it'll be a tough challenge anyway. Not impossible by any means though.

It it looks as if your right flank is going to get exposed a lot, especially with Leigertwood at right back set to attack. Set your full backs to support. I'd change your team strategy to Control, flexible. Id go for a wide, quick style of play. So use play wider, exploit flanks, look for overlap, higher tempo, whipped crosses, Close Down More. Add in Shorter passing as the tactic gets more fluid.

Then use a simple counter tactic as back up. Not 4-4-2, go for 4-3-3 like the other one. Just use some simple instructions, higher tempo, more direct passing, get stuck in, be more disciplined, whipped crosses.

Cheers mate will look into your advice. Leigertwood was only starting when i screen shotted it due to injuries. Will put your advice in and let you know how i get on. I'm always Blackpool on every FM as im a fan and hardly seem to get into saves with other clubs.

4-4-2 is a really bad tactic for counter attacking, try a 4141

If you upload your tactic to the site I'll play around and see if I can fix your defence
