Hi, I've only just got hold of 2013, and am trying to develop a fluid, attacking 4321 formation. The tactic is very fluid, attacking, with a narrower width than the default lots of roaming & creative freedom etc. The formation uses an attacking midfielder (ATT) in the hole behind the striker, with advanced playmakers (ATT) at AMR/L, with a deep playmaker (DEF) and a Ball Winning Midfielder (SUP) in the centre. This tactic has worked superbly at Man Utd, with Isco and RVP either side of Kagawa, ahead of Cabaye and Fletcher, and behind Rooney up front. The team is playing stunning, passing football, dominating the game and carving out chance after chance, controlling possession without becoming boring. Thing is I'm looking to use this tactic with other teams (specifically Newcastle for now), and I'm not sure what kind of role to use for the frontman, or whether I should look into using a ball playing defender. Any advice would be much appreciated.
