My Arsenal team is a very young, very talented team and I have won 2 consecutive league titles, as well as reaching a champions league final.

First season I got 92 points. Won 28, drew 8, lost 2. Scored 81, conceded 23.

Second season I got 87 points. Won 25, drew 12, lost 1. Scored 65, conceded 20.

So far this 3rd season I sit 2nd, 9 points behind but with a game in hand. Won 19, drew 8, lost 1. Scored 56, conceded 18.

My problem is I simply draw too many games, and don't score enough.

My squad is:

GK: Adler, Jaaskalianen

FB: Eboue, Jucilei, Mattock, Gibbs

CB: Bochetti, Lucio, Leo, Djourou, Wilson

DM: Song, Fernando (Porto)

CM: Fabregas, Ramsey, Diaby, Denilson, Canales

AM: Nasri, Thiago, Walcott, Wilshere

ST: Babacar, Bendtner

I currently play a 4-3-3:

Sweeper Keeper

2 x Centre Backs

2x Wing backs

Anchor man

2x Attacking playmakers (1 attack, 1 support in CM ahead of DM)

Attacking playmaker in wide left attacking position.

Inside forward in wide right attacking position

Complete striker upfront.

Anyone got any advice as to what tactic I should play.

P.s. would post screenshot if I knew how! lol

alt+F9 to take a screenie

stronger goalie required and striker

i dont rate the formation and i think that a 442 or a am behind 1 striker is better

Mate if there is one thing I do not need, is a keeper. Adler saves my **** all the time, comes 2nd in world keeper of the year. As for striker, who? Alt+F9 then what? lol

Stronger goalie? Adler's amazing!

You need a dominating striker. Unless Bendtner and Babacar arebanging in the goals you need to replace them. And you're probably letting the opposition play around you as you have no width.

EDIT: Dzeko's always a good one.

I definitely want to stick with Babacar, at least as a back up.

So if I get a new striker, how do you think I should line up tactically?

and again I would post screenshots of players stats if I could lol

Get Dzeko!

Flat back 4-4-2 diamond always works, or a 4-3-1-2.

In all honesty, I don't score enough, I draw too many games, I don't keep the ball well enough... I cant see how signing a better second string keeper will solve this.

striker are too slow you need at least one fast one, i would totally agree with changing to a 442, slow the tempo , maybe your trying to rush your chances slowing it down will help picking out the right chance rather then just trying to score too hard

sorry but where is van persie he is amazing if you sold him then that was a big mistake

Thanks for the advice everyone. As for Van Persie, he was pants for me so I sold him.

So how should I line up you think until the end of the season?

Perhaps:

Adler

Eboue Lucio Bochetti Mattock

Walcott Ramsey Song Nasri

Fabregas

Babacar

How do you think I should play as a team in terms of team instructions?

Right that line up is what I went for in my next game away to Villa. (except Nasri and Eboue are injured, so Im playing Thiago and Jucilei instead)

Gone for a Balanced philosophy, standard strategy. Team presses, has creative freedom and set to shorter passing.

I am playing with a sweeper keeper, 2x centre half, 2x wing back, 2x wide midfielders with attack, 2x central midfielders (one with defence, the other support), an advanced playmaker with support and complete striker.

sign milevski , try 442 take out ramsey , i agree alder is the nuts for me aswell! also have u tryed denilson in a cm place next to cesc playing both as amc but in the center works well for me. im mid way through 3rd season also i`ll put up a screnny!:D

i play a 4-2-3-1 and im unbeaten in 38 games so far and i score tons of goals, if u want to download it ill put it up 4 u

go 4-4-2 mate, by third season teams tend to know how you play, considering your results, teams are gonna sit and and frustrate you, hence lack of goals and many draws. they're not just parking the bus, they're parking the tank. you need more firepower and you need to go wide, stretch teams and pull them apart with your passing. control strategy, rather than attack will be your best friend.
