Im currently Newcastle, playing well and winning BUT Tiote's avg rating is very rarely above 6.8 any suggestions on how to set up a BWM to put in better performances?

cheers in adcance guys

ball winning midfielders are players who do the 'dirty jobs' rather than taking part in attacks etc. thus, so long as your team is winning, dont worry too much about the ratings for your bwm as it does not mean that he's not playing well. mine rarely goes above 7 unless he scores a goal tbh.

i'd only worry if he starts making stupid mistakes leading to goals and perform his role poorly.

They get high ratings only when they make ~15 successful tackles/game or pretty much the same amount of interceptions.

Have you tried switching him deeper into an anchor midfield role or even a defensive midfielder role just infront of the defence? I find Tiote peforms better in that position and might be worth giving a try :)

Try setting him to all the way defensive as a BWM. Javi Garcia has relished in this role for me.
