Help with FM 2013 editor please

Hi Everyone,

Just for fun I used the editor to change one players stats just for fun. Trouble is I don't know if it's possible to do changes, save them and restart the game with the changes in place.
Is it possible or will it work only in a new save?
If it is possible to save and use without starting a new game, how can I do it thanks.
Please remember, I'm a pesdioner and not good with computers.

you must start new game if you want to see changes. you can make changes in your saved game with FMRTE-use google to find it
