Help with Match Prep

Im struggling to decided how to the select my 3 formations in match is it best to select 3 different formations with the same team instructions like using a 4-5-1,4-2-3-1 and a 4-2-4, or have 3 completly different tactics

just set to different tactics, normally it must be attack/control/overload with different setting ( width, passing, etc )
