Help with selling players

For some reason i can't sell unwanted players. i tired the old way of offering them for free than remove them from the transfer list changing their squad status to rotation and offer them for a bit more than they worth but it's not working. any other tips? thank you in advance

I usually find taking payments over time is a big help in offloading players. You dont get that lump sum fee but the board will usually accept a request (if your rep is high) if they know the money is guaranteed to come in. Just keep an eye on the projected balance.
