Ok I am Leeds in my second season and sorta have my wonderkid backbone in place. I have verratti who I plan to develop as a playmaker, otamedi and Mats Rits on loan to buy since he wont sign a contract.
Anyways I was thinking of developing Rits into a box to box midfielder, currently have him on Tugs DM and was planning on swiching him to MC half way through the season. Can anyone help me devise a training schedual that would let him do both really?

And also next season I want to sign Sandro and Lakutu, anyone comment effectiveness of a 4-5-1 or a 4-1-4-1?

Rits can't be a ball winning midfieflder.
You want Rits to run around with the ball and spray passes, not to win the ball and short pass to someone else.

I thought you said to develop Rits as a box to box midfielder.

A box to box player is a player who has a defensive and attacking stats.

Rits doesnt have that.
He is like Verratti.
Use them both as an advanced playmakers.

can you put up a screenshot?

Liverpool developed Rits to be able to play a DM and he is already showing some ok def. stats at 17. Two playmakers will be a bit unbalanced anyways.
