It is very odd - for them to show up in information view then it cant be a problem with the kits them selves or the config... so it got to be an issue in game, or with the database....
 
Ok guys i think i have come up with a solution involving editor data files but what i need to know is which team kits is there an issue with? I know that my test has worked with England kits but need to test others before releasing the file. Any help would be grateful
 
Well herm - From what we've spoken about kits i've had issue's with so far...

England - Home / away
Wales - Home / away / third
Bayern Munich - Home / away / third
Germany - Away
Spain - Away
Ireland - Away
Isreal - Home / Away
Norway - Home
Russia - Home
Andorra - Home / Away (not sure if they were included in your pack or not though)
Austria - Home
Belgium - Home / Away / Third
Croatia - Away

This isn't entirely true faulky,

I started a new game with the updated database and all kits were present in the information screens.

If you're running on the original database they don't work.

But none were present during match view.
 
Herm - I think it has to be a config issue. The list i compiled for you - once cross referenced with the config they are all the teams with the "year" attached to the config line.
 
Not all of them are mate - see if the Serbia kits work (had people say that one of the home or away doesnt)... if thats true then they dont have an extra line with a year in the config. But looking at the databse - there does seem to be duplication on the kit associations with many of the kits that have issues... i'm going to be working through them and posting an xml for testing.

I tried a config with just england kits with the two lines for home and away (so no yearly ones) and it didnt show up...
 
In fact here is one now for people to test for me, its a work in progress for the nations kit pack... as far as i know this is what you need to do. Save the xml file into the following folder:
My Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2012\editor data

Then start a new game in FM2012 (not a saved game) using the 12.2.0 database (or whatever the latest one is - dont use default), if you have put the xml file in the right place, on the screen where you choose the database to use it will say Editor data files: 1 enabled (if you only have the one in that folder).
Then click ok.... dont make any changes to the existing nations europe kit pack config....

See if the all teams up to bulgaria show up... thats as far as i have got so far.. so thats Albania, andorra, armenia, austria, azerbaijan, belarus, belgium, bosnia & bulgaria. Oh and England too.

Music to my ears :) - will continue with the editor data and hopefully will have a fully working xml file ready soon. Will also include it in the kit pack for future downloads... shame that it will only work on new games... unless someone tells me otherwise lol
 
FIXED MISSING KITS ON MATCH VIEW - For Europe National Kit Pack only.

Download the attached config...

Save the xml file into the following folder:
My Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2012\editor data

It's a fairly decent work around, might not be 100% cos not had chance to fully test, only checked on a few matches so not sure what it will be like after a few seasons lol.
 
Is there a North American National Teams kit pack here? I cant seem to find one.
 
For those that have asked if there is a certain kit pack here.... You can answer your own question by looking on the OP (opening post) if there isn't a link to what you want then it safe to say that there isn't that pack available.

Thanks for the request but I dont think i will get chance to create any new kit packs at the moment. As the season draws to a close this means teams start to release kits for the following season - that will be my next project, creating update packs for 2012/13 season.
 
Hey hermanchides,

Any chance you've created a Polish Ekstraklasa League kit pack, I am pretty desperate for this as I already have all the logo's and badges just need the kits. If not do you know where their is one available where I don't have to have an account to download?

Any help you can give will be much appreciated.
