No he shouldn't, the update seems to come out progressively later and later each year, expect to see it in May.
My advice would be to hang on in there. I was getting beaten 4-0 etc off them the first 2-3 times i played them with aberdeen, by the end of the season I was beating/drawing with them with the same players and same tactic finishing 3rd, a point off 2nd. Second season I won the league by a margin, and 3rd by and even greater margin.
