I have played Championship manager/Football manager since 1993 and I have never spent more than £5million on a player. I like to develop youth players. Highest receieved was £32 million plus Dos Santos from Barecelon for Gabriel Torje from my Fulham game 3 or 4 years ago

bought mario gotze at the start of the second season for 50 mill (38 up front, the rest in clauses and a bit in monthly installments)

i had an offer of 38 million for RVP from man city but i rejected it. in hindsight i should have accepted it as he is very injury prone. he has only played half of the available games due to constant injuries. luck i bought Cavani.

to anyone in there first season (maybe second)at a big club, buy cavani he is pure class, scored 49 goals in 50 games for me in the first season and has got 5 in 6 so far this year. he and hamsik from napoli are bargains at the start of the game. i got cavani for 24 mill and hamsik for 26 mill. they are both 24 at the begining and both still develop a lot in the first year.

I signed Mario Gotze in 2015 for my Liverpool side for 80 mil. With 40mil for international appearance but forgot too put German national sides on this save. Finally got my man lol!

highest received 59m for Essien to Real Madrid. :)
highest paid is Neymar for 62m

javier hernandez to real madrid 33 mil plus clauses and canales

80m, not 80M? It's still a million, whatever the size of the m, M. That's like Me saying "my name is tim, not Tim." However you dress it up, m is always a million, K is a thousand, so next time, put 80K, or, better still, 80,000.

Also, 80k purchase being sold for £3.5m is not a great deal in football terms. I'd far rather buy for £4m and sell for £15m+

35 million for petr cech to city about 4 seasons in, sold.

39 million for gotze to man utd beginnng of second season, paid.

I used the pattern from other language. Now I know I was wrong.

But I dont know in what world a rise of 40x in the value isnt a great deal.

This is one of the concepts of the moneyball.

Also you seem to know only know one football world. But even then, I am sure this is a deal Jean-Michel Aulas would approve.

As I said in the first post I am playing with a south american team.

to be fair to you most south american teams run a tiny budget in FM. so 80k to 3.5 mill is a pretty handy profit, especialy for a small team.

Iam playing with Internacional, not exactly a small team. Having won Libertadores da America twice (CL equivalent) and the FIFA world cup against Barcelona (also suffering the humiliation of losing to Mazembe in the semis in 2010). A south american small team could probably build a entire team with this money.

With transfers like this and a lot of prizes, Inter are now the 15th richest club in the world, ready to overcome the nearest ones.

ps.: I have taken Boavista from the botton to Liga Sagres in FM2011 and I sure have spend less than this in almost a decade.

Sold Sergio Busquets to Tottenham for 39mil!!
Bought Thiago Silva from Milan for 44mil

30m for Mvila, who was world class midfielder then. Sold him for 30m 4 years later XD FM 11
On FM12, I got Alvaro for 8m, and sold some Dutchman for 4 mil.

£45m for a 16 y/o regen.. Stupidest thing I ever did.
On fm10, i bought some regen for 15m. After that, i looked at gs and saw he had 130PA. I was devastated XD
