I dont know whether this has been asked or not but im going to ask anyway. In order to make what im saying easy to understand i will use Steven Taylor at Newcastle united as my example.

Say You are a club in my example Newcastle and you have a player who is a home grown player such as Steven Taylor, You sell Taylor to another club, not because you wanted to but because he wanted to move on to further his career. Since then 3 seasons on you have moved on as a club and are now in a position to sign him back; Is he still classed as a Home Grown Player for the purposes of Champions League Registration?

Im purely theorising here but just wondered whether in my example Taylor would still count as a home grown player because he was formed at newcastle, even though he had moved to a different club and then returned 3 years later

you need to see his general info to find out... but yes as he trained at Newcastle he will still be a home-grown player...:D
