home grown status problem

Ok i got a problem here.


As you can see in this first link, marco verratti will be trained in club by 29/6 2014

But now i am in 1/7 2014, and he is still only trained in nation???

Any help? I bought him in first season, now is the end of my 3rd season, so by right he should be trained in club already. This is ******** up my squad management plans cause i'll have to register 4 useless youth players for ECL

Spaces count as home grown and enter him as he probably will be home grown for both.

No, i've reached the champions league registration date and checked by unclicking verrati to see if he took up a "trained in club "space and no, verratti is only counted as home grown in nation. Any other help from others? whats going on.. is this a bug? so annoying..

Seems to me the problem is that he's already 21, where the three years at club need to occur before he's 21. Then that would leave a question about why it gave you that target date.......maybe there is some error that says he will be trained at club on that date, without taking his age into account.

I have the same problem. But they are neither trained in nation, nor at club. I got a brazillian when he was 18, and 3 years later, I go to register him and it says he is not home grown. The home grown status page says he is though :S
