In this edition of fm I find it very difficult to implement a balanced 4321 or 4231. I've found, however, that if you just drop the wingers to wide mid positions everything works as intended.

So basically I play 4231 with a 4411 formation and 4321 with a 4141 ( it's more realistic anyway).


However why do you think you have to play counter with a 4411? It's basically a 4231 formation, you can very easily go for aggression. I use a high tempo control 4141 with great success : it allows the wingers to storm up the field while leaving less empty space behind.

You've got fullbacks. I wouldn't go agressive with a role not supposed to overlap. WB's in wingback position is another story...

True even a 4-0-2-3-1 whould do well with this squad^^ win the premier leugue with a lower team and then tell us which systemd do u prefer i pretty much like 4-1-2-2-1 with wide AM

People are right kernts, he might like this formation if he got relegated to league 2 with liverpool, the **** does it matter who he was playing as? Never understood that bollocks.

4-1-2-2-1 is probably the most balanced formation, while lacking a player in the hole Ive found playing a false 9 sort of replicates the effect while still maintaining a strike force.
