I've just had a look at my club information screen and looked at the ticket prices for the club. I'm managing Dover, we're in the 2018/19 season and are in the Championship for the first season.
What's shocked me is that the average season ticket price is £642 which is £100 more than any other club in the division and £200 more than most. It is also more than half of the Premiership clubs. The average ticket price is also more than any other.
What I was wondering is how does the game work this out because in reality this wouldn't happen. No-one would pay that amount of money for a season ticket to a club like Dover, we still only have a 6,500 seater stadium. I know it's only a small thing but I was wondering if anyone knew how these types of things were decided?
