How are young players developing in FM 20, compared to 19?

In FM19, the way young, promising players develop, was very underwhelming for me, and I've seen this being reported as a problem by many people.
Winning titles and all sorts of trophies, with 18-21 year olds, being key players, 4-5 stars potential, would result in them barely developing stats over a seasons or more, in many cases even going down over a season.
Did you guys notice any difference in FM20 regarding this aspect of the game?

I thought it was fine in fm19, it's just that there's a million variables and things that influence the youth. At the very least all information regarding youth development is shown much clearer now, other than that, I'll need to play the game more.

Yeah I think so many aspects go in it can vary club to club so it could come down to who you managed in FM19 vs FM20. In FM20 I have had some youngsters come on leaps and bounds very quickly whilst others seem to have gone backwards. Seems decent to me.
