How can I edit rosters of a saved game?

Hey guys,

I've read about the FM Editor, and how I can edit databases and custom rosters - but how do I edit the roster of a save game?

I'd like to move Heskey to Newcastle United Jets, and Owen to Stoke City in the middle of my current save game without having to start again.

u cant do it half way though a game using the editor..the only way i can think off tht u can is take over the clubs and sign them but tht will spoil ur game

Thanks for the quick response. Can I create new managers for the respective teams, sign them, then retire/delete those managers?
