How do I get a new stadium?

Playing with Liverpool and making lots of money for them with buying and selling player...especially to Barcelona.

Now I had tried to ask the board for stadium expansion and every single times it was turned down. So how do I get those boards to build me a bigger stadium to get more income?
 
Usually a new stadium will be built if you're filling out your current ground every week, are successful in the competitions you enter and then have a few hundred million in the bank.

Patience is needed though. :)
 
I think you can give yourself a new Stadium on the data editor cant you?
 
liverpool are moving to "new anfield" in the not so distant future arent they?
so that's probably the reason they are unwilling to expand the current one
 
They do have plan for a new stadium but the boards keeps having problems like takeover or something and they canceled it.

I do have money in the bank after buying good players and selling them in 6 months or 1 season for double the price... mostly are midfielders.
