I got this boardroom advise telling me that some of my players' wages are better spent at other areas. So I offered these players new contracts (not all of them as some are still new). However, I can't convince them a wage that is lower than their previous wage, they instead want exceedingly higher wages. So what do I do to solve this problem?

sell them and get players that are equally as good/better on cheaper wages

Do it on editor mate lol, if u now how to work the editor

Dont think he wants to "cheat" by using an editor.

Ive tried this to, the best thing i guess is to try hardline it at the negotiations table (worked for a couple of my players) however in general i find them demanding much more then they currently earn which makes it almost impossible to drive the wage down

That's cheating. With doing that you just ruin your game.

Im playing LLM with Nuneaton, and my wages are max 6,5k, but I had 8,5k. So I sold 3 key players (striker, MC, GK and DM) and signed contract with some other guys with wages max $100. That's a **** game.

Dont use editors, it just take out all the fun from the game.

I've signed Cristiano Ronaldo for like 240.000 euro per week, i only forgot that 2 other lesser players had something in their contract to meet the same wage as being best players. The only way i could lower their wage (including Ronaldo) was to wait untill they had 1 year left on their contract. I then sort of negoitiaded with them and they accepted wages like 150.000 euro a week and under. So negiotiate when you they have 1 year left (unless their to old)

For me i got to give them a contract with cheaper wages but they wont acept it they wont more then they already had/

Sometimes you can talk to the player and in the last section titled 'Transfer Status' you can say to them that they need to reduce wage demands. This can only be done if you are over your wage budget.
